Purpose of the Job:
  • The Proposal Manager will be responsible for preparation and submission of Techno commercial
    proposals.

Objectives and Responsibility:

  • Tender reading, preparation of project specific synopsis, Technical proposal writing, Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial & legal
  • Preparation of tender documentation and submission. Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes
  • Presentation to management on the key aspects of Tenders, Risk review etc.
  • Attending meeting with clients , and technology partner.
  • Interaction with SCM team on RFQ preparation to suit process needs conforming to contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery
Job Requirements
Educational Requirements

  • Engineering degree from an accredited university or college
  • 7+ years of experience in Techno- commercial proposal, with the Power industry
Knowledge and Experience
  • Prior knowledge of steam turbine, Boiler, ESP, BOP, Solar, Ash handling, FGD, Waste to energy
    portfolio
  • Good understanding of commercial terms and conditions
  • Excellent team player and adaptable to cross-functional environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and facilitation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to effectively lead in a non-hierarchical, matrix management.
  • Experience with customer specification review, proposal development and leading a sales effort.
  • Ability to manage and understand financial analysis, risk, tax and legal/contractual principles.
  • Ability to develop influential customer relationships, plans, sales strategies, presentations, and proposals and strong executive presentation skills.
  • First-class influencing skills and the ability to get support for ideas from a diverse group of individuals – integrative team working style.
Competencies
Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of steam turbine, Boiler, ESP, BOP, Electrical works, Civil works, Ash handling, Solar portfolio.
  • Knowledge of FGD, Waste to energy would be an added advantage.
Behavioral Skills
  • Good  Communication skills.
