Mission

Key Responsibilities
Strategic:
- Create, revise, update, and conduct annual reviews all written safety programs, policies and procedures to ensure compliance and continued effectiveness and relevance.
- Serve as an Environment, Health and Safety subject matter expert for the entire facility. This includes providing leadership and technical support on Environment, Health and Safety programs.
- Ensure full and on-going compliance with NGSL requirements. Serve as a point of contact for NGSL inquiries and inspections.
- Integrate Environment, Health and Safety processes, procedures, and practices into daily operations.
- Lead or participate in Health, Safety, and Environmental incident investigations, as required.
- Interpret new and existing regulations and drive actions to assure compliance with regulatory agencies (State, County, and Local) and conformance to NGSL EHS requirements.
- Drive functional expertise for the site EHS programs within the ESH Team and coordinate technical support from other ESH Team functional experts as necessary.
- Conduct regular safety and health audits/inspections to identify and assess safety and health risks associated with equipment, processes, procedures, materials and activities. Ensure appropriate multi-disciplinary participation and is responsible for overseeing and participating in resolution of identified issues or risks.
- Provide classroom and on site Safety and Health training, including contractor safety, new employee orientation, and required refresher training for all employees.
- Drive corrective action closure.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the EHS management system and lead implementation efforts of specific elements.
- Participate on the site confined space rescue team.

EHS Qualified.
B.Sc/Diploma (Mech Engg) & Diploma – Industrial Safety |
Knowledge and Experience
- 5-10 Years of Experience and exposure of above functions in Thermal Power Plant projects, Shut down Maintenance/ erection of Boiler ,Turbine , electrostatic precipitator (ESP).
