Purpose of the Job:
  • Maintains and enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. Provides expertise, leadership and services related to Human Resources. Assigned primary responsibilities & accountabilities include the following areas: Staffing & Selection; Training & Development; Performance Management; Employee Benefits; Employee Relations; HR Administration, Human Resource Information Systems throughout NGSL.

Mission
Objectives and Responsibility:

  • Support Senior management in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridging management and employee’s relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Ensures that Manpower requirements are met through timely recruitment of the right skills.
  • Provides support & guidance to Managers and employees to effectively implement the Performance Management System that includes laying down of the Objectives, Performance Assessment & Feedback and Developmental Action planning and implementation resulting in Training needs assessment.
  • PF, ESI and labour license compliance at project sites.
  • Ensures the preparation and maintenance of job descriptions of all positions in the Organisation as a tool to be used in defining Career paths/Career growth of employees.
  • Coordinates the development and management of an integrated Human Resource Information System that meets organizational needs.
  • Ensure seamless processing of all HR transactions related to payroll, statutory compliances, recruitment, Separations, employee engagement initiatives, Data management
  • Ensures that individual employee developmental needs are met through Training programs. Also ensures that ISO requirements for Training & Development are adhered to.
  • To provide support to the Departmental Managers in Human Resources related issues pertaining to their departments.
  • Tackling IR related issues at project sites.
Job Requirements
Educational Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree/MBA degree from an institution of repute in Human Resources Management.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • 18+yearsof experience.
  • Excellent team player and adaptable to cross-functional environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in English.
  • Must be able to travel to project sites, client offices,
  • Knowledge of broad range of Human Resources functions, policies and processes
  • Able to plan, strategize, and prioritize work.
  • Fully conversant with applicable laws and Acts
  • Working experience in Infrastructure Industries
