Mission

Key Responsibilities

• Strengthening & management of quality systems & processes in NGSL
• Routine & Pre-despatch inspection of supply equipment as per need including non-destructive testing of welding and other materials for supply equipment.
• Perform internal audits to assess compliance to Standards and to the internal Quality System, including investigation, presentation of observations and findings, and reporting.
• ISO 9001 certification for NASL.
• Develop and update Manufacturing and Construction Quality Plans complying with customer contract specific requirements and relevant International/Indian codes & standards.
• Provide guidance to Site engineers in implementing Field Quality Plans Welding Procedure Specification, Welding procedure qualification and Welders qualification for various erection stages of respective Equipment
• Review and/or document Field Change activities.
• Provide input for construction quality issues.
• Provide trending analysis on quality issues and performance metrics and provide guidance on treatment of punch list items vs. non-conformances.
• Apply sound systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving construction quality issues

Inspections

• Facilitate routine & pre-despatch inspection of supply equipment as per need including non-destructive testing of welding and other materials for supply equipment.

Plant Assessment

• To provide expert guidance in work/contract execution
• To interact with customer in any technical issues related to work/contract.

Job Requirements

• 15yrs+
• Should have worked in a large project company in Quality Assurance area
• Experience of NDT analysis and evaluation is desirable
• Experience of system improvement is desirable in a project execution company
• Exposed to Power plant EPC Projects ,FGD ,waste to energy Projects
