Purpose of the Job:

Establish, implement and maintain robust EHS management systems in compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & Company’s EHS policy & requirements. Identify legal and other requirements related to EHS across the company and ensure the compliance. Provide comprehensive EHS advice and support to the service & project sites.

Authority
- Authority
Authority to establish and implement EHS Management system across the company. EHS Improvement activities and programs. Release Directives, Procedures, Instructions and any other EHS related documents. Preparation & implementation of Audit Programs. All programs and initiatives required to ensure company EHS strategies, policies and 3rd party certification of management systems are achieved. Ensure EHS Legal compliance across the company.

Mission
|
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Establish, implement and maintain EHS management system w.r.t. company’s EHS Policy, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements.
- Identify legal and other requirements related to EHS across the company and ensure the compliance.
- Provide comprehensive EHS advice (including Technical & Legal) and support to the service & project sites.
- Support management to establish companywide EHS Objectives/ targets and implement programs to achieve them.
- Develop EHS training programs for all levels in the organization.
- Develop the inspection / audit programs to evaluate the effectiveness of EHS management system. Identify the gaps/ weak areas and get them improved those through training, communication and coachings.
- Provide feedback & updates to the management on the effectiveness of EHS management System.
- Conduct site visits & implement/support EHS Requirements at service/ project sites & offices.
- Coordinate and manage surveillance / certifications audits by certification agency on ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
- Conduct subcontractor’s qualifications & evaluations on EHS, and train & coach them on EHS for improvements.
- Analyze EHS deviations, events / incidents and near miss cases to identify root causes and influence implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Capture & Analyze monthly EHS data & set measurable objective & Targets for Continuous improvement. Track EHS indicators

- Continuation of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certification.
- EHS Legal compliance across the company.
- Visits/ Audits/ Improvement programs / support to Service/ project sites & offices.
- Trainings Provided on EHS & Safety Leaderships.
- EHS Data Analysis, Events Investigations, Root Cause Analysis, Establishing Corrective and Preventive Actions

Job Requirements
|
Educational Requirements :
Engineering graduate with 12-15 years’ experience in Environment, Health and Safety Management Plus Post Diploma in Industrial Safety from State Technical Board. |
Knowledge and Experience :
- EHS Fundamentals, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and 5S
- High degree of skills of problem solving, analysing and decision making.
- Understand project execution processes and impact of EHS on the performance of the business
|
Technical and Behavioural Skills:
- Planning & organising, auditing, influencing and communication, Project Management, People Management, Change Management, Negotiation, Problem Solving
- Good communication and presentation skills. Fluent in English.
- Ability to lead and motivate to make sound decisions and to impart knowledge clearly and concisely.
