Site Manager

Job Title & Purpose

Purpose of the Job:

• Responsible for complete site activities & timely delivery to customer
• Maintains EHS, Quality & Statutory compliance
• Works closely with Project Manager for all issues of the projects
• Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements;
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains project data base, entering and backing up data
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with state regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Objective & Responsibilities
Objectives and Responsibility:
Strategic:

• Responsible for complete site activities & timely delivery to customer
• Co-ordinating activities with cross functions viz-supply chain, Engg , Finance to eliminate project bottlenecks.
• Maintains EHS, Quality & Statutory compliance

Operational

Take active part in planning of projects for execution:

• o Project strategy
• o Schedule
• o Resources Erection and commissioning
• o Ensure achieving of milestone activities during the entire process of project execution

To provide support to the project management teams to effect:

• Customer satisfaction
• Schedule, costs, quality
• Risk and chance management
• Technical and commercial realisation of the contract (technical goals)
• Margin improvement
• Project culture (teamwork within the project team)

Job Requirements

• Engineering degree (BE)in Mechanical/Electrical from a reputed College with 15-20years of experience in a reputed organization for erection of heavy equipment’s including tanks, FGD or Turbine & Generator Retrofit and good track recordof safe working with planned timeline target achievements

Knowledge and Exprience

• Experience in Power industry in similar function
• High degree of skills of problem solving, analyzing and decision making.
• Leadership capabilities.
• Experienced in O&M, Erection of Thermal Power Plants

Competencies

Technical Skills:

• Successful track record of Site Management in the power generation market
• Planning and scheduling knowledge,
• Knowledge of site work execution
• Resource planning
• Experience in heavy lifts& erection of machinery
• Civil & Mechanical Vendor Management
