- Sourcing of total project requirements, cost estimation, Vendor development/registration, Development of project sourcing plans, Cost effective procurement, negotiation and order
close out, ensuring reliable and quality execution

Mission

Key Responsibilities
- Define strategy and supply chain plan for the commodity during bid and execution
stage
- Sourcing for assigned packages as per project requirement for Projects/packages and
works including but not limited to Power plant equipment, Substation for Electrical packages/scope.
- Ensures on time delivery of RFQ’s to Suppliers
- Procurement Planning, performs Total cost analysis of the offers received and organizes / participates in technical – commercial discussions with the Supplier
- Ensure accurate cost roll ups through offers from vendors, complete Cost estimation,
New vendor development
- Co-ordinate Supply Chain activities with Project Team and Product lines in line with
Customers requirement
- Collects information from Project Manager regarding project-related, commercial and legal specifications in the RFQ and Purchase Orders to Suppliers,
- Issues Purchase Order and ensures return of acknowledgement
- Leads cost reduction, lead-time and quality improvement initiatives as part of continuous improvement during project execution phase
- Conducts negotiations, involving Engineering Representative, Supplier Quality / Order Fulfilment and Project Manager. Responsible to apply Procurement Concept
- EHS – To ensure vendor selected is in compliance with EHS policy & procedures.
- Ensures compliance of Business Award with validated regional Supplier Panel
- Initiates the Purchase Recommendation to Leadership for approval and ensures order release
- Supports Order Fulfilment, Quality and Engineering for organizing deliverables, which are late from Supplier,
- Support the Projects / Product Lines for critical operational issues (e.g. claims, delays, key negotiations) with the regional suppliers, issues claim notifications and manages recoveries,
- Manages the invoice release,

Job Requirements
|
Educational Requirements
- Graduate Civil Engineer with 12+ years’ experience in similar field Field experience in executing civil jobs Having qualification in Purchasing, sourcing or supply chain management
|
Behavioural and Technical Skills / Competencies
- Technical competency in Electrical standards, materials, codes, for relevant packages/systems
- Electrical execution experience at site managing independently large scope
- Awareness of purchasing standards, commodities, policies, procedures, and Sourcing management principles
- Good writing and communication skills, transparency, team spirit.
- Ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams.
- Decision making, problem solving, ability to independently resolve issues with difficult suppliers.
