Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Services | 9 × 135 MW
Ongoing Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services for Vedanta Limited’s Jharsuguda Thermal Power Plant (9 × 135 MW), encompassing complete operational control and maintenance of Boiler–Turbine–Generator (BTG), Balance of Plant (BoP), and auxiliary systems to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe power generation.
Scope of O&M
- Boiler Systems: Operation and maintenance of furnace, pressure parts, superheater/reheater circuits, economizer, air–gas path systems, burners, mills, and combustion control equipment.
- Steam Turbine Systems: Operation and condition monitoring of HP, IP, and LP turbine sections, including steam valves, bearings, sealing systems, vibration surveillance, and thermal performance control.
- Generator & Electrical Systems: Generator operation, excitation systems, protections, cooling systems, transformers, switchgear, and station electrical auxiliaries.
- Steam, Feedwater & Condensate Systems: Management of main steam, reheat, feedwater pumps, HP/LP heaters, condenser, vacuum system, and condensate extraction systems.
- Gland Steam & Turbine Auxiliaries: Operation of gland steam sealing, gland condensers, gland exhaust systems, lubrication oil and jacking oil systems.
- Coal Handling Plant (CHP): Operation and maintenance of coal receipt, conveying, crushing, stacking, reclaiming, and bunker feeding systems.
- Ash Handling Plant (AHP): Handling and disposal of fly ash and bottom ash systems, ash slurry pumping, silos, and evacuation systems.
- Balance of Plant (BoP): Cooling water system, DM plant, water treatment facilities, compressed air system, fire protection systems, and plant utilities.
- Instrumentation & Control: DCS operation, field instrumentation upkeep, protections, interlocks, and performance monitoring.
- Safety & Compliance: Implementation of safety practices, environmental compliance, statutory inspections, and regulatory adherence.
