Purpose of the Job:
  • Responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through
    management of project related activities and resources, with the key responsibility for ensuring
    that all aspects of a customer project plan are effectively planned to minimize business and
    customer on time delivery (OTD) risk.

Responsibilities

  • In this role the successful candidate will be expected to liaise with all members of the tendering
    team, project team and sourcing to ensure project plans are accurate and up to date with the latest project progress. Ensures project implementation as well as work packages and constraints are accurately integrated into project planning scenario. Responsible for monitoring progress and producing accurate projections of time and cost. Ensures other functions have access to accurate current reports and projections and relevant reports are available for the customer. Contributes to the development of an operational year plan for own department activities of the team. Discusses consequences of changes in products and processes for the own team in the organization. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.Contracts are predefined and a framework of conditions is set and followed.

Purpose:

Development and ownership of project schedules from project handover meeting through contract term including physical progress tables and detailed progress tracking

  • Review, advise and make recommendations on contractual requirements specifically relating to schedule and progress monitoring
  • Maintenance, update and monitoring of progress on project schedules, including production of internal and external reports
  • Preparation and issue of schedule impact assessments and impact assessment summaries as identified by the Project Manager for incorporation in internal project changes and external variation orders
  • Support Project Manager during internal and external meetings to proactively drive schedule discussions & present material accordingly
  • Implement "early warning" identification of potential schedule issues and drive options to reduce "Cost to Recover" exposure
  • Identifying and communicating ‘risk’ relating to all schedules produced
  • Assist in the production and maintenance of reports to forecast resource requirements to meet contract deliverables and business plan requirements
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the planning system to take account of changes in procedures and systems to maintain the planning system to high standard incorporating current best practice
  • Support the project planning process to ensure accurate plans are developed and executed.

Job Requirements:-

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

Knowledge and Experience

    • At least 10 years of experience in Project EPC / Green Field /FGD /waste to Energy Project
      Planning
    • Experience in MS Primavera, MS Project
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Ability to influence others and lead big teams
    • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
    • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
    • Effective problem identification and solution skills
    • Proven analytical and organizational ability
