NGSL is an ISO 9001: 2008 certified Company. It has established, documented and implemented the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008. The QMS is being maintained and improved continually across the organization. For effective implementation and continual improvement, the documents being followed are:

Quality Manual and Mandatory Procedures

These are the apex documents applicable across the organization. While the Quality Manual defines the organization’s quality policy, quality objective, organization structure with role and responsibilities, processes, resources, information, and its application including monitoring, measurement, and analysis, as well as product realization, which shall provide for continual improvement in product and service delivered to the customer, the mandatory procedures are the procedures applicable for compliance by all functions.

These are documented procedures applicable to specific functions.

Work Instructions and Formats

For some important activities within a specific function a brief procedure for each has been written in the form of work instructions. The formats for each function have been prepared for maintain and the reporting the information.

Quality Objectives

Quality objectives are identified as per the specific requirement of the Quality Policy of NGSL. Quality objectives aim to ensure that NGSL achieves the leading position in the market through the following:

 Creating value and improving level of satisfaction of our customers and stakeholders.
Continual improvement in all activities related to Quality through measurement of processes and improving upon the same.
Increased awareness of quality on part of every employee through effective training and development.
Meeting customer’s expectation and improving upon the same by monitoring and measuring activities related to meeting customers’ requirement. The objectives as referred above are linked to the measurement parameters for broad analysis & improvement and to review whether these are met.

Measurement of Effectiveness of the QMS

Quality objectives are identified as per the specific requirement of the Quality Policy of NGSL. Quality objectives aim to ensure that NGSL achieves the leading position in the market. This is done by internal audits, external surveillance audits and management review meetings as per pre defined schedule in line with the standard.
