Construction of 33/6.6 kV Sub-station works at Mines End of Odisha Coal and Power Ltd. (OCPL)

Odisha Coal and Power Limited (OCPL), joint venture of Odisha Power Generation Corporation Limited (OPGC) and Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited (OHPC), formed to develop and operate coal mine and cater the fuel requirement of OPGC Expansion Projects (Unit 3, 4, 5 & 6) at its existing plant location, IB Thermal Power Station, Banharpali in Jharsuguda District, Odisha.

Overview Of Project

The scope of work comprises of construction of 33/6.6 kV substation works at receiving substation at mines end along with associated Electrical, Mechanical, Civil works and Miscellaneous works.
The 33 kV switchyard employs single bus switching scheme with bus sections.
Scope includes design, engineering, manufacture, type testing and inspection at manufacturer’s works, packing, supply, transportation, transit insurance, delivery to site including custom clearance/port clearance (if required), receipt & unloading, handling & storage, in plant transportation, erection including associated civil, structural and architectural works & 33/6.6 kV Switchgear/Control Room Building.
It shall also include the cabling, lighting, lightning protection, earthing, CCTV surveillance system, EPBAX and telephone system, UPS, LAN, fire detection/protection, air conditioning & ventilation, association of sub vendors if any in the erection, supervision, site testing, inspection and commissioning of complete 33/6.6 kV substation/switchyard work including:

• Transformers
• 6.6kV Switchgear
• LT switchgear and Busduct
• Cables
• Cabling (cable laying, Termination, support system)
• Earthing and Lightning Protection
