NTPC GE Power Services Private Limited celebrates the 46th National Safety Week at all its sites across India

The National Safety Week is a Campaign being spearheaded by the National Safety Council, India for nearly four decades to mark its Foundation Day (4th March) and is aimed at renewing the commitment of employees and general public to work safely throughout the year. The ultimate objective of the Campaign is to ensure integration of Occupational Health & Safety in work culture and life style.

NTPC GE Power Services Private Limited celebrated the 46th National Safety Day/ Week at all its current sites across India between 4th March 2017 to 11th March 2017.

During the said week, the workers practicing best safety measures were recognized and awarded. Various Quiz contests relating to safety awareness rules were also organized motivating all employees and creating more safety awareness at site.

The event was attended by Mr. Debashish Sarkar, GGM; Mr. LD Shahu, GM (O & M), Mr. Ganeshwar Mishra, AGM (AHD) along with other officers from the Customers side at NTPC Kaniha, Talcher Site. Also at GSECL site, Ukai, the celebrations were attended by Mr. S P Jain, Chief Engineer; Mr. I D Parmar, Addl. Chief Engineer; Mr, S N Patel, SC Fuel with other officers from the Customer. The program was attended by all the workers with a lot of enthusiasm and passion towards following safety practices.
