NGSL is proud to announce that its Korba Unit (1740 MW) has been conferred the Platinum Award for Safety Excellence by the GREEN ENVIRO Foundation. The award was presented at a prestigious समारोह held in Goa, in the esteemed presence of Shri Sripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, and Shri Vivek Srivastava (IPS), Former Director General, Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards.
The award was received by Shri Mahesh Khende, Managing Director, along with Shri Alok Tripathi, Whole‑Time Director, on behalf of the NGSL team. This recognition highlights NGSL Korba’s exemplary safety performance, robust systems, and unwavering commitment to fostering a safe, compliant, and responsible work environment.
