Steam Turbine & Auxiliaries R&M with BoP Systems
- Comprehensive Renovation & Modernization (R&M) of LMZ make 210 MW steam turbine‑generator units at Wanakbori Thermal Power Station, aimed at heat rate (cycle efficiency) improvement, life extension, and long‑term reliable operation of Units‑1 & 2.
- Complete replacement and upgradation of turbine internals including HP, IP, and LP turbine components, advanced blade profiles, improved sealing systems, refurbished casings, and strengthening of critical rotating and stationary parts to enhance efficiency and extend service life.
- Heat Rate Improvement & Performance Enhancement through optimized steam path redesign, reduced internal leakage losses, improved stage efficiency, and controlled spray water usage, ensuring measurable TG cycle heat‑rate reduction as per contractual performance guarantees.
- Modernization of Turbine Control & Governing Systems, including hydraulic governing system refurbishment, upgraded turbine control logic, protection systems, and integration with plant control architecture for stable, responsive, and safe operation across the load range.
- Renovation of Turbine Auxiliaries & BoP Systems, covering condenser and vacuum systems, gland steam system, lubrication and sealing oil systems, steam extraction piping, valves, supports, and associated balance‑of‑plant systems to improve overall cycle reliability and operability.
- End‑to‑End Execution Responsibility, encompassing residual life assessment, detailed engineering, design, manufacturing, supply, dismantling, erection, site supervision, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, performance testing, and documentation, fully aligned with GSECL technical specifications and contractual guarantees.
